Anyone interested in a new custom intake for the DE motor?
More Lies from Mr. Lyons...
I shipped it in a bigger box, full of packaging material to keep it safe. It arrived un-damaged.
You shipped it in a smaller box, with no packaging material, and it arrived damaged. Again, the proof is laid out here:

The dispute went through Paypal, but was never resolved because you went to your bank and demanded a charge back, not because Paypal ruled in your favor.
You were scared that you'd have to take responsibility for your actions, and demanded your bank to step in. That's BS.
I urge everyone to read my document here and come to your own conclusions:

I mean the proof is right there....
it's not like this guy (Mr. Nelson) is just going to go around screwing people over. He has a product he wants to sell, and that bad business practice would ruin his reputation.
Mr. Lyons from what I can see is just one of those people who thinks that the world revolves around himself. Some customers can be complete d!ck holes. I know this from having to deal with several of them.
Sucks to have to deal with someone like this

Excuse me for bumping an old thread but are there any updates on this? Dynos? 2nd IM ever built?
What happened to the old slightly damaged IM?
Are you still making these and at what price?
Is there a reason you don't flip the intake manifold around and make it a straight shot into the IM. Right now you have more than a 90 bend which has got to hurt air flow velocity. Can't you put a small bend in the pipe to fit around oil filler? Or can't the oil filler be swapped to the other side pretty easily?

FWIW this look like a maxima intake. You should go sell them over there on maxima.org they will buy anything.

The damaged manifold was repaired and sent to Z1 Motorsports to do some dyno testing and they were not able to come through with a good mule to do comparisons on so it was sent back. They had planned to do an intake manifold shootout with ours, Kinitex, a plenum spacer and possibly the Crawford manifold, but it all fell through due to lack of time and problems with the car on the dyno.
We've sold this one to a guy locally who is running it on his car and loves it.
Another has not been built due to moving into a new and bigger shop and being too busy with other projects. I would like to partner with a machining shop and get most of the parts made by CNC and then have the local shop (street solutions), put it all together. But it's all on a back-burner.
The design is supposed to allow you to use the stock throttle body wiring and vacuum connections and also allow you to use your stock intake tubing. A change to the design will not happen for this manifold.
Hey man, can you make one for a maxima? Can you give me a quote? Basically exactly the same design as yours but less of a curve in the elbow. Instead of the 90 degree bend it would probably be more like 20 degrees tops. That should help speed up the air for some more HP. I also need the flange to bolt up to a 09 maxima throttle body as it is 75mm.
I have full bolt ons and rev out to 7100. Should be a decent test car. Eventually I will rev out to 8k but not until next year when I upgrade the head and throw on cams. If it gives good gains I can guarantee at least 5 people will buy them immediately.
A guy on maxima.org was going to sell a custom intake manifold similar to yours can had plenty of potential buyers.

Just a little info, I purchased this manifold from Chris, with the nitrous setup.
I have contacted him and waiting for return call, Currently the monifold with the nitrous does not fit! The spray nozzles hit the fuel rail, if you look at the pictures in the last page you can see the nitrous taps are too low compared to the fuel rails.
Chris please get with me ASAP to fix this, I have to get this car out of the shop in a week or two.

But yea, I'll be on it for you asap.
The only way the nitrous nozzles could hit the fuel rail is if they were installed upside-down.
See this picture, if they are not installed correctly it will hit the fuel rail.

I spoke with Muzzy on the phone early this morning and decided that the problem is related to his aftermarket fuel injectors. The aftermarket injectors sit taller than the OEM injectors, thus pushing the entire fuel rail up almost a half inch. This system was never designed with aftermarket fuel injectors in mind - especially because you can purchase aftermarket high-flow injectors that are the same height as OEM.
Problem solved - now Muzzy is on the look out for a spacer for the intake manifold.
