Motordyne Shockwave + ART = 317 HP/ 272TQ to the Wheels
Hi Guys,
This is James from Motordyne with the latest dyno and test results on my own car and experience with Shawn at Church Automotive.
The subject car is a 2008 350z Nismo (VQ35HR) with only two pieces of bolt on where both pieces are products of Motordyne Engineering; the tune was the Osiris Tune from UpRev.
Now, I know how some of you guys are skeptical about dyno pack reading and other comments about the horse power output, but that is not my focus here today. My main focus today is the comparison btween my old setup (HKS hi-power + BERK HFC) compared to (Motordyne Shockwave cat back exhaust + ART race pipes). And no matter which type of dyno you did the test on, the gap (gains) will be relatively the same and that is my goal here today to show you the difference in gain between my old setup and the Motordyne setup.
Please see the dyno graph in the attachment. The red dash line is my old setup tuned with Osiris. The green dash line is the Motordyne setup "with" the same tune as the old setup.
Finally, the purple solid line is the Motordyne setup with a re-tune by Shawn himself at Church Automotive.
If you guys look at the purple line on the TQ panel, you would find this huge increase in TQ that really provides the power 350Z has been missing in the lower power band. This is the magic of "ART race pipes". The feeling is night and day and and I'm sure anyone who's got a set of these would agree with me.
The rest of the graphs would shows how dominant our R&D result is over conventional brands. We have countless independent dyno and reviews out there on most forums, and you should be able to find them by typing "Motordyne review" in either google or the search function here.
Since we've recently got our own show car, we would also like to participate in the result pool and answer any questions from the enthusiast community.
For any inquiries and questions, please kindly email to tech@motordyneengineering.com We will get back with you within 24 hours
For ordering details, please visit our website www.motordyneengineering.com We have ARTs in stock, and shockwave cat back exhaust will be in soon.
Here is the video presentation for those who lust to experience the sound. I have a couple more videos that I'll try to put up sometimes later this week, please stay tuned.

In conclusion, there are 3 points I would like to recap with this post.
1. Steroid your low end power with ART race pipes!
2. Here is a formula you'll love: ART + Shockwave + tune = Welcome to the 300 whp club.
3. Dominate results at conventional price is Motordyne Engineering.

Take notice of what is happening in the plot above.
The Red plot is Berk HFC's and a HKS exhaust that is fully tuned.
The Green plot is the ARTs and Motordyne Shockwave TDX on the same tune.
The Purple plot is the ARTs and Motordyne Shockwave TDX retuned once again.
You can see that simply bolting on the Motordyne parts makes more power but take notice what the retune does to the performance of the purple plot. It goes up significantly.
This is telling us that the ART pipes have a strong interaction with the exhaust cams and have much more to offer with a cam retune.

Why do we discount dyno's if there tuned correctly?
If the dynopack used gives out accurate number for a stock car why is it when a modified car numbers are said to be "not that high"
Just of late I had my car up on a dynopack my car made 264.5whp 234.7wtq
that's ballpark numbers for a stock HR...so if the OP pulled his car up on the dyno pack after me...why isn't his number "not that high"

I'm just questioning why folks knock numbers from a dynopack compare to other dynos
you mentioned cam tune ??? is that something aside from just a regular tune ???
great numbers again...my friend has those pipes on his DE and your full exhaust not sure which one. His car sounds like trumpets from heaven at WOT...I drove it once didn't even wanna get back in my car
keep up the great work!

Not sure you understand......that dyno has ALWAYS read high. I am not saying all dynopacks read high, but this one absolutely does. It is a tuning tool.....treat it as such. I know of one car in particular that made 278 on that dyno, but didn't break 240whp on a dynojet (SAE).....just as an example.
I just want when my car is close to the Motordryne's Nismo...I'm not look'd down on...
I'm saving my pennies for that very part...

The tuner who did my tune was Shawn Church. The place is called Church Automotive in South Cal.
Here is the number to his tune shop: (310) 518-4966 or (310) 713-6171
Hope this helps
