Default xo2 with magnaflow x pipe and resonated test pipes

i couldnt ever find any real good videos of this exhaust with the resonated magnaflow x pipe so i decided to make one. i also have cnt racing resonated x pipes. I did some normal driving for most of the video and did a full throttle pull at the end.
<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/n3WsfoYxCAs?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/n3WsfoYxCAs?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
It sounds much much better now than it did before the x pipe. the x pipe and test pipes were installed at the same time.

Great video. I'm looking to get this same combo. I have the CNT/ERZ HFCs.

Here's mine with test pipes and the magnaflow resonated x-pipe on the dyno. Where did you mount the x-pipe?

i replaced the h pipe and resonators with the resonated x pipe. i believe that just how you did it. mine and yours do not sound as much alike as i thought they might. maybe it has something to do with my car being a hr.

i did the test pipes and took the exhaust off myself, one of my buddies is a very good welder. so i had him cut the exhaust and weld in the x pipe. so it was free.

60 bucks to weld in the x pipe, i was charged 80 total to heat up the rear section and straighten it out as well.

xo2 + x pipe is basically the Ark pipe. Their exhaust is exactly the same as HKS and they claim it's not a knockoff by using the x pipe instead.

i wouldnt exactly say its the same because the xpipe is resonated and arks is not but runs into two single resonators which come apart inside.

"X02" is 2.5" diameter, HKS is 2.25", thus not exactly the same

X02 > HKS except for the resonators and the tips, and obviously fitment.

The difference is, we are using a resonated x-pipe where ARK uses an unresonated x-pipe. the resonated x-pipe greatly reduces in cabin drone and rasp. ARK still hasn't posted a sound clip with HFC's or test pipes. Either way, it still looks like a quality system by looking at the pictures.

Thanks for the info.

But do you guys know if adding the magnaflow resonated x pipe would cause power/torque changes (+/-)?

I'd buy the XO2 exhaust but the cheap tips and fitment issues are keeping me from taking the plunge...

BTW Op, do you have a video clip of the xo2 pre adding the magnaflow x pipe?

just an incabin video, no test pipes either. probably wont help much... but if you view my other videos there is a video titled ensign pond road, thats it.
and as for fitment my driver side tip is a little low. i painted my tips and the cans semi gloss black with some high temp paint. i like it better than bunrt tips anyway.

Default bump.

old thread, but in for this set up...
thanks for the clips.!

XO2 already installed, magnaflow 2.5 in resd x pipe on my garage floor, and Intense power resd test pipes n non foulers going on at time of x pipe installation. (Also doing new master/slave n ss lines, JWT fly n clutch combo as well as POP charger and a TWM short shifter w solid trans mount bushing.. should be a totally diff car after its ready to be picked up. )

Sounds good to me.
