Default Resonated test pipes + stock exhaust anyone?

Does anyone have a setup like this? Does running test pipes with stock exhaust give a more agressive sound?

Sure, any time you free up exhaust flow by removing something, the sound will be more aggressive. I imagine this would sound pretty good.

Right now, I'm running the Fast Intentions resonated test pipes with the stock catback on my 08. Prior to this, I was running the Turbo XS catback with the RTP, then the Fast Intentions true dual with RTP.

Since it has been quite a while since the exhaust was 100% stock, I might have lost touch with the exact sound of all stock exhaust note. But I swear with these resonated test pipes, it is quieter than stock. Definitely not high pitched or raspy.

I would say slight gains, at best. No dyno to prove anything here. But I do have an annoying hesitation between 2500 and 3000 rpm.

You'll need a parachute like in the first vid if you do this mod.

some raspyness is only during warmup...

if you want it to be slighty more aggressive...

remove the resonator on the mid-pipe....
