If you go with anything other than stock you will mess up your tune badly. There's no reason to use another MAF sensor unless you're maxing out the stock MAF which is good for 400+HP.

But the cost is different between OEM and aftermarket.

I believe the OP is looking at OEM units, but produced by outside manufacturers. One of them is bound to be the OEM for Nissan (Nissan isn't in the MAF manufacturing business, they source it from an outside supplier)

OP - where are you located? What's the exact year, and build date of your car? How do you know your existing MAF needs replacement in the first place?

unless your car has MAJOR engine upgrades, it would do you no good

what is the car doing that leads you/your shop to the conclusion that the MAF is faulty?

I'm having trouble with my 350Z. I was wondering if someone could steer me in the right direction

I used engine Gunk cleaner to wash the bay and I sprayed off the engine when I started it up it wouldn't rev pasted 2500 then the Check Engine light came on along with VCD and Slip light.

I checked the code and P0102 came on. Mass or volume air flow a circuit low input .

I tried everything. With a scanner I can see that the sensor is some how working Bc it's reading flow.. I haven't changed any fuses Bc I dont know where to look. I would appreciate your help.

Well, you got alot of searching to do then…keep looking on the forum for similar issues and similar 'check-engine-light' codes…

As far as your wash goes - take 20 or 30 minutes and make sure all your wire harnesses are connected and nothing came loose.

You have two fuse boxes - below and to the left of the steering wheel and one right behind the battery - search for how to access each…pretty simple.

I have used the Jet MAF ON 4 of my cars now. 06 Maxima, 05 g35 , 09 maxima. I just got another one today for my 06 350z. I have a cold air intake on all cars listed. Under Hard acceleration it’s seem to hit a flat spot in the mid range and then resumed to accelerant. After replacing the MAF with the Jet MAF that problem was taken care of and now pulls throughout the power band.
