Default MINES testpipe and KAKIMOTO exhaust

Hi guys,

I just fitted MINES test pipesp and kakimoto dual exhaust.

Problem is i am having droning sound at low rpm and crispy sound when rev 3500rpm onwards and i feel it sound rice. Seems like some metal rattling.

Is this normal?I did a search seems like no one using MINES tp and i believe this topic has been discussed any kind soul here could share any bad experience with test pipes and advise on this?

Is there anyway i could rectify this or by changing Y pipe will help?

I am driving a 2008 350z roadster HR engine.

This is pretty normal on any car running test pipes. The tone can end up pretty raspy at certain rpm's.

High flow cats, resonated test pipes or add resonators somewhere.

Any resonator is better than nothing, but can't guarantee the rasp will go away completely when running straight pipes. I would either go with resonated test pipes, high flow cats, or see if you can get a muffler shop to add resonators somewhere in your current setup.
