New Headers from RPM
I recently had the pleasure of meeting Johnny and Jim with Redline Performance Manufacturing in Arizona. They were looking for a volunteer to give up their 350Z long enough for them to prototype some headers for the 350Z (and G35). I volunteered my Z as it isn't a daily driver, and they built some shorty headers (and long tube) and fit them to my Z. They dynoed my car before the shorty header / test pipe install and then after the install. My mostly stock engine (JWT pop charger) had a gain of 20 RWHP in mid range, but no gain at high RPM with the test pipes. After putting the stock cats back on, it had a 15 RWHP gain at mid range, and 20 RWHP at high RPM. To say I'm pleased with the results is putting it mildly. RPM also took a look at the Y pipe and determined that it is a choke point and they are now designing a Y pipe also. You can reach Redline Performance Manufacturing (RPM) at (480) 390-2927. Give them a call if you'd like more power from your Z or G35.
Give RPM a call and ask them for the data and pictures. I'm not a salesman for RPM, just a happy customer.
Oh yeah, thanks mods for moving this to the correct forum.

No pics, no dynos, and only 17 posts in 8 years with no other review or report on mods? Betcha this guys account got hacked and this is RPM plugging themselves. Not to mention 15-20hp from shorty headers alone?

My account wasn't hacked and I usually just lurk on here. I don't have the dyno sheets available, but contact RPM if you want the details. I'm sure they'd be happy to send them to you.
Here is the before and after dyno results.[img]https://i559.photobucket.com/albums/ss40/floydfanjim/RPM20vs20Stock.jpg?t=1302916622 [/image]
I tried to load the image but it doesn't work. How do I load the picture on here?

Thanks, kacz07 for fixing the picture for me. I searched and couldn't find how to post a picture on this forum. Just to enlighten me, please advise how to do it. Thanks, again.
I do hope everyone is satisfied now.

The latest edition of Nissan Sport Magazine arrived yesterday, and the lead article is about development of aftermarket parts for the 370Z. They used a 2010 NISMO 370Z for modding, and Johnny Grum (now with RPM) is identified as the fabricator of the long tube race headers that were developed for the 370Z. They picked up 23.6 whp on the dyno using the headers Johnny fabricated. Not too shabby!

Did they mention how much a set of long-tubes (or shorties) will cost? I'm local & would like to check them out.
