i'm buying an injen SES exhaust from a member here.
Could you guys look over the pics and see if this is OK to buy?
It has a small crack in H pipe. looks like the stainless steel pipes are discolored?
The black stuff is from the tip sitting too close to the bumper. Are all injen exhaust like this?

Flex pipes look okay. Definitely on a slammed car though and the tips look a little messed up if you're worried about the aesthetics. I'm pretty sure only the tips are titanium on the track edition so the welding shouldn't be an issue on the stainless steel, but you should factor that into your cost. How much are you about to pay?

my car is also pretty low. What kind of welding needs to be done to make up the crack? is it normal to have the pipes turn brown like steel color?
getting it for $200.

I'm not too familiar with the welding process, but I do know that you can't welt titanium, which is why the tips are sort of bolted on as you can see in the pictures. It doesn't look like its the toughest thing to weld but you'd definitely be better off bringing it to a shop rather than hearing it from me. The Injen is made of T304 stainless steel so I'm assuming its pretty old if its rusted like that. I don't think it would hinder performance at all anyway. To be honest, you can't really go wrong for $200. I've seen this exhaust sell for twice that with huge dents all over it. Injen is one of my favorites and it sounds amazing.

A well kept exhaust looks like above. You get under the car every 10,000 miles and polish it.
You have welds in several areas. Mufflers dragging on the ground. Looks like junk.
Looks like its got some miles on it, no problem. Just take it to a shop and have that one crack welded up, and since your car is slammed it would have a thin grind plate welded in on both sides of that location.
Typically the pipes will discolor from high heat, they can easily be buffed back out if you feel the need. Even my motordyne exhaust looks like that after 3 years. The only thing i buff out is the tail section.
