Default Question regarding oem intake parts

Hello all,

I'm looking on putting my 03 z back to a stock setup but one piece I'm missing is the oem intake. When I bought the Z it had an aftermarket intake (JWT popcharger), but still had the original z intake tube with MAF, along with an air inlet that I believe hooks up to the factory box. My question was whether I would be missing any bolts or other parts to hook up an 06 oem box on my Z if I only purchased the box. From what I've read the 06 and 03 boxes were identical externally.

Thanks in advance for a reply.

Oh good to know thanks. Would I need anything other than the box from the 6mt version to hook it up in my 03?

Also what's the difference between the 6mt and automatic version of the 06 air box?

I was always under the impression that everything is the same in 03-05's except for inside the box itself from the 2006's

I checked courtesy parts and it lists the same info too:

Yeah that's what I thought as well.

Any idea if I'd need more than the box Waizzz? If it ends up that I need more parts I think I'll close my WTB thread and just get one of the amsoil dry filters to hook up to the pop charger velocity stack. Main reason I want to go to stock is I can't be bothered with the wet filters anymore. Never have enough time set aside to do the whole clean and re oil process properly

As long as you have the piece that the MAF sensor hooks up to you can bolt up the box to that.

I think you're good to go!
