Default Exhaust Fitting

I recently purchased and installed the Invidia CatBack exhaust system

http://www.invidia-usa.com/Products.aspx?ProductID=34

and was wondering since they do not offer a y pipe, can I fit, say, a Stillen Y Pipe

http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?i...SAN&model=350Z

to the Invidia setup?

I like how invidia charges 800$ for the system when you can find it for $600 everywhere else online.... lol

This looks like a Y-pipe to me. See how it is shaped like the letter “Y.”

I'll admit i was being one of those guys and not researching anything before posting. Sorry for wasted time by everyone that has responded. Thanks for your efforts though.

After looking at this:

http://www.dealerdirectparts.com/v/v...os/3714160.gif

i see that the headers connect to the single pipe that is connected by the Y pipe. I thought i needed another "Y Pipe" to connect the headers to the rest of the exhaust system.

Its cool. The exhaust system can be confusing:

Aftermarket Y-pipe is designed to replace OEM Y-pipe.

Each catback exhaust system is unique. Parts are not interchangeable.

Correct...do not count on the Y-pipe from one system always mating up to another manufacturers after-market system.

That being said, if you have two different after market exhaust system pieces that are made to bolt to stock parts, then they should mate to each other when using pieces from different makers.
