87mmFT Throttle Body Anyone?
Anyone interested in a 87mm throttle body?
The LS2 90mm throttle body has been successfully run on the Nissan Titan for a few years now and i have a guy that is working on installing the GM 87mm on his 350Z for testing as i type this.

Can be useful if you have an intake manifold with an 87mm throat (or larger) and an intake tube with roughly an 87mm diamter. If neither of those things are present, it's going to largely be a giant waste of time unfortunately

The Titan uses the stock 70mm intake neck and has proven nice gains with the LS2 90mm. I have been running the 90mm for 4 years and the throttle response is extreme. Gains are .1-.2 in the quarter mile.

We dont know what will be needed to make it work correctly yet.
We have made an adapter plate close to wat we used on the Titans. We are not porting the intake, as you stated it isnt big enough so it wanted be a direct bolt on.
I dont understand the first part of what your asking, but we are using a 90mm ls2 and ls7 on the titans now. As far as the MAF the only change in it was when we went to using a 4" coldair intake. That required our tuner to rewrite the MAF table to be able to adjust for the extra air being supplied to the VK56.

last time i checked on the titan forums, there wasnt much progress with the LS TB's (granted that was a while ago) and am currently makin gmy way thru this thread http://www.titantalk.com/forums/tita...ness-tb-2.html
What are you doing to make them compatible with the stock DBW setup? My ems control any DBW but its really though to dial it in good as stock. I imagine there are alot of compromises with the titan 90mm swap as well.

I've got a Mine's throttle body on my Z.
To be honest, don't really know the mm diameter.
Maybe,3mm over stock?
It is visually larger than the OEM T body.
In addition, inner surfaces and all parts of the veturi
are highly polished to almost a gloss.
The performance gain is excellent.

Both the Titan and Z's throttle body measure 70.08mm ID.
