Default Does anyone have this?

I recently stumbled across a exhaust vid on youtube showing a muffler delete and AAM test pipe combo. I loved it!!!!! Does anyone else have it done? If so, can you post a clip or link showing me?

A vid on YouTube is one thing.Hearing the car and riding in it for any length of time is another.Dpends on the driving you do&local law enforcement.May sound sick, but I'd to have that set up roaring in my Z if I did much on the hwy driving.Remember, the Z
does not have good sound insolation in the rear.

Exactly what JCITY said. If you do a lot of highway driving the constant BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMmight get annoying. I had an exhaust leak right off the y-pipe and while this is much closer to the headers than just the muffler, I could not STAND how much louder it made it. I've been in a friends muffler deleted Z and it has a similar drone to it, just a bit quieter. Just food for thought.

I don't do much HWY driving at all to be honest. I love the deepness it has at idle and top end isn't raspy either.

My delete didn't end up with rasp, but i still had the stock cats.

However, the boom and flatness of the exhaust note was horrible, i wanted to change it back after i'd done it.

After fitting ART pipes, basically test pipes with rasp/power/torque control, it was horribly loud and very boomy. On the highway, it wasn't bad, you could hear it, but you could cruise ok, but any load, accelerating through normal RPM's etc, it was just obnoxious, would be the best way to describe it
