Mods, one way to avoid threads like this is to put a filter or approval system for new members whose threads contain the words "best" or intake or exhaust or wheels....just a thought

The best intake is the one that doesn't hydrolock your car when you ram it in to a puddle of water. Ramming 350Zs in to water is a ton of fun.

Popcharger w/ heatshield = still heat soaks but cheap and sounds cool..
stillen short ram w/ airbox = great, but expensive
all in all, not really worth it so just keep stock air boxes and add a k&n filter

7 to 10 degree hotter air than ambient, funny part, same as the CAI guys get.
Short ram without a proper heat shield sucks, with a heat shield is usually good.
