Currently have a Borla TD installed. I bought a TDX v2 with the plan of using the XYZ HFC module...then found out that the v2 eliminates the HFC section. I'm going to install the PPE's and see how it sounds with the Borla. From there, I'm either going to weld some HFC's into the Borla somewhere, or buy replacement TDX v2 midpipes with HFCs ($440...).

Have a feeling I'll probably go the Borla route, as the TDX v2 is essentially a straight-through and would be loud as hell. Had a JIC semi-Ti single, and it was wayyyyy too loud.

My car will be

PPE headers
XYZ pipe with resonater module (will probably grab a straight section too , need a cat section also for Global Time Attack)
Motordyne single Shockwave (old version with megaphone)

It was really loud before with the DC headers and Berk HFC, i have a feeling it will be a bit louder.

Also, i'm not going to do lame *** sound clip stuff. They always sounds so much different in person.

Inside the car isn't to bad at 3k 80mph , outside the car sucks. High RPMs on the track is freaking loud, but the helmet knocks down the noise a bit

MD has a HFC section for the V2 you just have to PM hydrazine (MD) for info to purchase.

The optional HFC's for the V1 are attached to the XYZ pipe.
The optional HFC's for the V2 are built into the mid-pipes.

PM Tony (Hydrazine) for pricing on the mid-pipes or give him a call.

They will hold them at a UPS facility near you for a few extra days for you to pick up. In fact, I think you can select which UPS they send it to. I've done it many times, so not all hope is lost!

It's actually two HFC's on the v2 -- the HFCS are welded into two replacement midpipes between the 1-into-2 resonator and the canisters.

The V2 HFC mid section should be around $200, yes it goes between the mid resonator and the rear axle backs.

Do not underestimate the affect that the Helmholtz resonators have on the sound level, especially when you have the HFC's inline. My full system with ART pipes and TDX2 is a DD and works fine. However, the ART pipes have Helmholtz as well.

Because I'm matching the 2.5" test pipes on my car right now with a Y pipe and it's has incredible back pressure and no top end compared to a divorced dual 3" which I need to redo and end at the rear diff.

The LTs with the invidia gemini was not that loud, but with my new exhaust it's very loud, but I like it the exhaust note turns heads.

Jake make before/after vids since you have a shockwave.
thats a good idea. if i can find someone with a camera ill see what i can do.

Full TDX 2 with LTH's would be the nuts... I can only imagine how sweet that set up would sound.

I went from DC headers and test pipes to the LTH's and all I noticed was a change in pitch and tone...And power !

BTW I run a single exit titan, for now till I finish mocking up the new RDZ single exit and or Dual
