what all is supposed to come in the box? i thought there was supposed to be a harness extension or something like that. is that coming with the install kit? lmk...

Supposed to be a bag of wires to extend your O2 sensors, PPE catalog, and stickers that what got when I received mine Nov 2011.

Actually really easy for a single person...a little determination working from the top and bottom I was able to get one side out...

All six can be reached from below the car...

not sure how much more difficult the longtubes are than the regular headers but when i did them on my old 04, drivers side was the easiest?? just disconnect the steering rack and thats it (if i remember correctly)? passenger side was a ***** because of the coolant lines and all that other shenanigans. its been forever though so i could be forgetting some important steps that would make it harder.

It probably depends on the design. I've heard some say that [some] LTH's are easier to install than [some] shorties. A lot of shorties end up being very bulky near the engine heads for the sake of trying to make the primaries longer and/or equal length in a smaller package (see Crawfords). LTH's don't have to make those same compromises since they have more overall room to work with (since they eliminate the cats and can thus cheat into that space).

Mine were mailed out to me a few days before I got the headers. I'll check my box and see if there is an extra set.

i think everyone's tensions are just running high because we are all way way way beyond anxious to get these installed... especially after seeing derek's dynos. once we all have them on and get tuned, i suspect there will be a unanimous and resounding "yes it was worth the wait". i think, to ppe's credit, they hammered out nearly 60 sets of headers between a few guys pretty fast (the lexus group buy was around 40 people). i think it was jethot that really dropped the ball on this... it shouldnt take a month to get 15 sets of headers coated.

mgrotel - they didnt send terrasmak the wrong headers. they just forgot to put on the extra o2 bung on but they are taking care of it. good to know. we were all worried when we read that.

Got mine in today and they look great! Now just waiting on the hardware kit and the extras from PPE.
