aam sounds like the agency power imo, my opinion may be a little biased but i really think the momentum is the only single that sounds different from all the other singles out there

in terms of clean & deep to loud

AAM --->AP--->Momentum

as seen from my videos

Get AAM I don't have that hiss!

Motordyne xyz pipe w/resonator would clean up any hiss!

EDIT:

The Megan drift exhaust is the same as the AAM.

Never had momentum but heard yours and I hear diff sounds. To me cleanest single sound and deep is AAM. Momentum is.loudest by far. I'd rather have Megan racing single then AP. But AP has better look. Again not.gonna jump the gun. I have.already spent way more.then I intended. Was suppose to wash.after I sold old exhaust wheels and xxrs. So far I still have them.

Anyone have calculator or formula for exhaust flow? Would like to.see numbers current single 3 and custom 3.5 single.

Where does a JIC rank? I had a JIC single Semi-TI, non-resonated, and it was loud as all hell. Drone was terribad up to maybe 4k, as well.

SHooting for next month to get my valve covers fixed and new plugs. Going back to get retuned. If my numbers are near the same then obviously my motor is fatigued and it will be parked motor dropped

Also wondering If i should change out my intake. Current is 06 box with K&N drop in.

Can anyone tell me the outlet diameter of the PPE HR headers? In the near future I will be purchasing these headers, but at the moment I'm putting together a custom exhaust and would like to match the exhaust size to these headers.

Thanks

^^^

2.5

If your concern about db levels, as stated many times before LTH are similair to test pipes below 3-4k after that it's LOUD!

Keep us posted with this custom exhaust

Ugh...that number gives me nightmares...

I want to dyno my car, but scared of the money I'd be blowing to get to this number on a respectable dyno. My last numbers where 291 corrected also crazy, plus the tuning sucks ***** here...so we haven't see anyone hit 300.

For sure, I'll be using a 2.5" resonated x-pipe from Magnaflow,

http://www.apex-speed.com/magnaflow-...ipe-11386.html

and then 2.5" straight back from there. I'll likely throw in some straight through mufflers on each side, but we'll see how loud it is.

Hi guys,
my name is William and I'm from Italy.

I'm gathering infos on long tube headers...and most probably I will get them!

So I read this thread and I was wondering about PPE piping size of 1-3/4".
I've seen the dynos in early pages of 1-3/4" vs 1-7/8" stepped.....the 1-3/4" delivered better low end TQ indeed.
Anyway I was wondering if using 1-5/8" tubing would lead to even better results for our 3.5lt engine? (vq35de non revup).
What do ya think?

PS:
I have Nismo R-tune camshaft!
And Kinetix new velocity manifold (that most probably I will sell for a new plenum handcrafted by myself )

Ok so my post is not one of the most successful one...

Anyway searching around I found some info's about headers tubing size/length calculation..
http://www.sandersonheaders.com/Lets-Get-Technical.html
http://victorylibrary.com/mopar/header-tech-c.htm

It can be interesting to check it out!

For those who has the PPE's....how did they fit? Straight away or any adjustment was needed?

So im thinking of adding a res to the XYZ pipe and run a custom 3" exhaust out to a prob HKS Ti can. Maybe even throw in another vibrant muffler to help if theres rasp. Bobby at CIN is determined i can make more power with a single over my Dual shockwave that I have now

I have the Rez on my XYZPIPE , the the Rez in my mid pipe, with a muffler outback (motordyne gamma) it is bearable. With the shockwave, holy crap it's freaking loud.

Also, with summer temps and the cat heat shield removed, my foot is on fire at the track. My carpet melted, my driving shoe is smoking when I get out of the car and I have blistered my heel. I need to fab up a heat shield for under my foot, probably diamond plate shield with a spacer for an air gap to keep it from heating up. I need this anyhow , when the carpet is out of a Z, I hate how low my foot is from the pedals.

Make sure the diamond plate shields don't drop off when you hit the NOS.
