Guess i need to start reading up on these more, need to figure out if i want stepped or not for my application.

Also, how many O2 bungs do they have on them? Are they set up with a 3rd to run a wideband, and can they weld one up for me so it is all properly coated when i get it.

What are you using to tune? The two lower O2 bungs are not needed, and can be turned off using uprev. I don't think there would be a huge difference in the non-stepped vs stepped choice! If anything stepped headers would have a higher peak and flatter torque...miniscule difference in total gain through the power band

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

Been checking in, trying to follow while at work. Has rev up fitment been confirmed? Saw there was plenty of clearance for a de, if so, I'm in.

Edit: spoke to ppe, non stepped fits rev up, and also doesn't have as much of a dip in torque... which confirms the post after mine. Okay... I want on the list!!! Also, I asked them if they did any testing on the intake side of things... by the end of the year they plan on trying some alternatives to our stock aluminium lumpy pancake of a Plenum!

the rear o2 bungs are used for idle and cruising situations and need to be in the exhaust stream to work properly, that means simulators will cause your car to not run right. the stepped version showed a pretty significant dip in the torque curve at lower rpm on the original tester for them. he reported back and they made a non stepped version and then the torque drop was much better, but still present.

quick question: when we finally place the order, do we need to specify what kinda VQ we have? Are we going to have the choice of either stepped and non-stepped? Or is there just one design that will fit ALL vq whether you're de, revvp, or hr?

thanks.

as far as i know the headers fit rev and non rev... im pretty sure this gb is only for those two motors, not hr. as far as being able to chose stepped or non-stepped, yes we will be able to chose that. touge, correct me if im wrong.

They have an HR version on their site -- if that is correct, I'm in for an HR set, non-stepped, ceramic coated.

That was my understanding that HR headers are apart of this group buy!

Op chime ASAP cause if HR guys are holding out cause they think it's for DEs only!

Just clarifying, but the group buy price does not include shipping correct?

Nope...so this groupbuy for us doomed Hawaiians means it pays for it's own shipping seeing it will be around 200 to ship!
