Default g35 tanabe exhaust interchangeable with z?

Found a deal on a hyper medallion rear section exhaust... just wanted to know if it will fit or don't bother?

You would have to get the mid pipe cut and rewelded, and NO the muffler will not work with your stock midpipe.

. I read the stock exhaust on a g35 (well the ypipe back muffler section) fits 350z.. so if its a rear section only exhaust (no mide pipe just rear) why wouldn't it fit?

From the y pipe you have a mid pipe, the g and Z have a different length mid pipe. Then the mufflers are all the same.

That Tanabe is supposed to have a Tanabe mid pipe , the Tanabe muffler will not bolt up to a stock mid pipe. at least the one I had wouldn't.

Post a link .

He's saying that the flanges might not match up.

That is the one I had, as you can see in the link it comes with a mid pipe, you need that mid pipe to run that muffler. Getting the muffler without the mid pipe will be useless.
