Interesting...

In for the average dyno numbers of z cars on that dyno. No doubt it's making that much power just validity.

Any clearance issues on these arround the PS rack? I know my Megan Racing stubby's fit perfect and I have had great experience with OBX so I wanted to make sure.

steering rack bar is hitting the headers, when u first install it its gonna be a bit rough turning the wheel right and left but wasnt a big problem to me, two weeks later the headers and the steering rack bar molded right with the headers soo its back to normal.

my shorty Stillen Headers also had clearance issues (this is documented somewhere on this site. Too bad the search functionality is terrible so I can't link) The steering coupler would rub, so I shaved it down and took my trusty hammer to the headers.
Problem solved!

to the OP: +1 for doing something different, -1 for making the car sound terrible.

In for before and after dyno chart

It's definitely raspy, but that's expected with resonators.

They also aren't equal length and I doubt the collector is helping things.

Good results, but I'd be willing to be there's another 5-10whp and good sound in a decent quality set.

I am not a fan of OBX in the least. I had to weld up cracks on a Honda b18 turbo manifold 3 times before he gave up on it.

Keep us updated on how the materials hold out (cracking, leaks, etc....).

If they are using decent materials now a days I'd be very inclined to buy a set, chop off the horrific collectors and replace with a real merge collector. Might move a tube or so to fix the steering rack rub.

Or just buy PPE's and not deal with any of that.

I've got all the equipment and already 50% done with a welding jig for fabbing my own. If the obx are descent materials now and 90% right its alot cheaper and efficient to correct to problems.
