Default Nismo axle back

Hey guys, I found a Nismo axle back locally for a good price. My current set up is the oem exhaust with test pipes. Basically I need a y pipe and a mid pipe. For the time being I was going to just run oem with the nismo axle back. For the y pipe it looks like the xyz is the route to go but I'm unsure of which one whether it having the straight pipe, resonator, or hfc. With the mid pipe I wasn't sure what to look at. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am almost positive the nismo axle back will not bolt up to the oem midpipe. You either need the nismo midpipe or a custom midpipe.

Edit: are you referring to oem Nismo axle back or the S-tune? The oem Nismo is exactly the same as oem except it has Nismo tips.

The guy took it off his 2008 nismo 350z before he sold it, from what I've been reading is that this exhaust is the exact same as mine except stainless and has nismo on the tips.. So it's not the same as the s tune nismo the one I really am looking for.

Someone please correctly if Im wrong but from everything I have read, the nismo exhaust is the same as oem. Just some nicer tips on it. The S-tune exhaust is the one that that you want, if you are looking for a bit more flow and better tone.

It's just an OEM exhaust. Plus, the exhaust tips are longer to accommodate the Nismo rear bumpers. Save your money.

Agreed. Unless you just want looks, but almost all people buy an exhaust for noise and performance, with looks more towards the bottom of the list.
