Default pop charger and z1 spacer review

What was installed?
z1 spacer and jwt popcharger

How was the directions and installation of the z1 spacer?
It was straight forward they did word what washers to use wrong but being logical it was caught and corrected via not enough washers for bolts supplied. I had to look up on line to see the amount of washers to use for the strut bar clearance and made sure I had a 1/4 inch of play from strut bar to the lowest point of intake manifold so it would vibrate under load.

How was the directions and installation of the pop charger?
Straight forward hardest part was drilling the holes in the intake ram duct for the small screws and tightening them. They should of came with small bolts and nuts instead of screws.

How was the performance increase of the z1 spacer?
I believe the avg of 10hp is correct on my butt dyno... It makes the power more usable and more tq down low (2k-3k) but definitely a noticeable gain and well worth the time in doing this mod.

Why didn't you go with motordyne spacer?
Your paying for the name it is a angled spacer there is no ***** wonka secret here.

How was the performance increase of the popcharger?
Before the flame starts yes it is a placebo charger and being that I have an 05 without the magical velocity stack in the 06 box I decided to go with the pop charger, it whistles and makes noise no gain is what it is.

All in all I recommend the z1 spacer to all de enthusiasts, the pop charger is a preference type mod... Any questions please ask I would be happy to help!

Motordyne is not angled and your not paying for the name, you are paying for the R&D that was put into it as these other companies did not have to do that work.

+10000000. People crack me up back when I had my md spacer asked me why spend more useless money. Guess I support pioneers not copycats

I agree on the comments about the MD spacer. Was a pioneer,R&D etc.It costs more...
Whats the difference(if any)on the results in power increase between the MD and a
Z1 spacer?I've got a Z1 spacer(like it).Have driven other Z's with a MD with the
same size spacer.I could not tell any difference driving the cars.Perhaps
on a dyno there is another 2hp.How you gonna feel that in any place other than your wallet?

I'd prefer to give my hard earned $ to the pioneer who did the R&D but I guess that's just preference and principal

It's like comparing a Harley to a Kawasaki...same performance different price...and if there is a difference in power it's negligible
