Finally, after getting pricing from him I can say they're extremely fair, this is quite the hp to $ ratio.
depending on the housing price I will probably take a set

What was the final price that he came up with?

I wonder if the Injens would be better. I already have injen long tubes.

He advised me $150 shipped to your door for both sides. This also included brackets if you're doing a setup similar to BMurray's which I am doing. You'd then have to get any additional clamps, silicone piping and filters.

For those with Injens, I mentioned the interest and he said he could put together longer tubes to replace the upper intake pipes, he said they just did something similar on a G35 within the last week.

And their heads... And smaller bores...and longer strokes...and not their clutch cylinder!! Just put the old tb in the new tb guess 3.5" won't be enough...got to ditch the strut bar and go 4"

$150 :0 oh damn thats a good *** price definitely interested. So that for the complete set filter and everything. Ahh I see but am wondering if the injen mod would produce gains similar to murray.

Wow! This is great news, I'll hold off on my 3.5" then and see what a full 3" with injen tubes will do on the dyno

So for the injens they would jus change the upper pipe. So wouldn't that kill the gains by no goin with a bigger filter

Again I'm no fluid dynamic engineer, but my best guess is this type of mod (increasing) and not the filter would be the same as a TB spacer/manifold spacer etc... More air capacity

Where all the smart guys at?

The filter size does play a role but I believe the Injens had a pretty good size filter. The one bmurray used had a 6" diameter base that tapers to 4.5 or 5" diameter tip.

My filters are huge because I wanted the velocity stack to play a role. Which I believe helps out a lot. More so on the street than on a dyno.

Not yet. May order the jwt heat shields but after looking at some pics it looks as if the shields will be sitting right up against the filters. Not sure if that's a big deal or not. May get some sheet metal and get fancy lol

Should any shop be able to up rev tune this? Didn't you say it took CIN all day to do it BMurray? Would there be a way to get CIN to share kind of a base map of 3in intakes so that other tuners could have somewhere to start from instead of starting from scratch?

I have no clue. Any tuner should be able to do this I would think. But if they spend all day perfecting it or get you out within a couple hours... well that's another thing.
