This thread is getting completely out of hand. This is not about pro/anti Crawford. I am not sure when this turned to a series of personal attacks, but we should be above this. This is the internet. We are all tough guys. Some of us want to get FACTS not all of the other opinions and politics. The Crawford plenum was the first mod I had considered, but I don't want to lose the strut brace. HFM we (though not apparent) appreciate your efforts. But, on the other hand, nobody here would consider you to be IMPARTIAL regarding Crawford. Had I posted the same dyno and posts, there would not have been nearly the fallout.

12SecZ, you are right this is not about plenums anymore. That being said, do you (both) think that we can end this show of bravado and get back to the point: the plenum. If you (HFM, et. al.) decide to dyno again w/o the AEM I, for one, would be interested in the results.

Actually, I'm sure I'm coming across as impartial after all the fallout. I chose not to use tact with a few persons on this thread because they don't deserve to be treated nicely when they don't extend the same courtesy.

But, Vandy and Doug felt I would be impartial enough to send me the plenum. And, had the results been better, I probably would have kept the plenum since Vandy offered me a generous discount.

Yes, I live in Nashville, yes, I know all the Crawford "pimps" (Doug for 17 years), but I don't understand why you don't recognize that you opened yourself up to all this by your obvious anti-Crawford sentiments from the start, as has been stated here over and over again.

I think HFM likes me and is in denial, either that or he really is a jerk, either way he needs help. Read what you are typing. Why is it politics? Because Crawford fans are stepping up to defend the plenum in the only way they can? Attacking the tester? Dude, they are not all Crawford fans who attacked you, and the Crawford fans that are attacking you are attacking you because of your actions prior to the dyno and your review that was not independant. You attribute all this backlash to the results, when in reality this backlash is the reaction to your postings over the past few months(?). You put no blame on yourself for your previous actions. You only blame the ignorance and short-sightedness of others.

And as for 12SecZ, if you have him pegged for a passive aggressive, bipolar animal, why do you continue to provoke him? The bigger man doesn't need to get the last word. Sometimes silence speaks volumes. You are polluting the thread as much as he is now.

And on a side note (if you could call it that), I'm throwing my version 5 plenum on a stock Z March 13th. If i get another stock Z at my dyno day who is willing to do the test, we'll get two dynos. I was speaking with LSD and if we're lucking out, maybe we'll even have the Kinetix plenum there too, although he is very busy and there might not be an extra prototype sitting around.

We paint the town ending up at a tatoo shop, we have Crawford tattoed on his azz REAL BIG.

Then every night it's the last thing his boyfriend will see before going to bed??? LOL.

 

The thread was pretty much done yesterday. It came up again today because I PMed Max about his personal attack. So, yes, everything posted today is pretty much crap. That's the cost of making things personal.
