Will the Nismo S Tune exhaust fit a Nismo 350Z?
Hello all, this is my first post on this site/forum/any 350z forum, so go easy on me! Just bought an 07 Nismo 350Z and one of the first things I wanted to do was get the Nismo S Tune exhaust because I fell in love with the sound 7 years ago when I saw a youtube video of it. Fast forward to now, and I have the ability to get the exhaust but I just wanted to make sure it will fit the Nismo 350z. I'm thinking it should be able to because the only change in the car is the addition of the Nismo body kit and dampers. Can someone confirm for me please?
This is the exhaust that I've looked into purchasing:

Thanks for the help!

Let us know.
I thought that it was pretty rare to find a new, in the box S-tune exhaust in stock anywhere.
When I was looking to buy one I resorted to looking for a nice, used example.
What number are you?
#0078 was recently for sale in Coatesville, PA. Did you buy it?
Post in the Nismo Registry when you get the chance.

I'll never find it, but there was a thread about the S-Tune on a Nismo several years ago. IIRC, there was some interference between the tailpipes and the diffuser, because of the upward angle of the pipes. What I don't recall is how the owner resolved the issue.
In any case, my bet is you won't actually find a new one. I've seen the "in stock" on parts like this too many times, both for my Z and BMW. But, good luck, and you'll never get to one off my car.

NOTE: I would give fitment a 9 out of 10 on the Nismo, as the muffler hangs lower than the stock one. This makes the muffler come into slight contact with the top part of the diffuser (just like the HKS does), adding the potential to melt it. This upper plastic piece could either be trimmed (1/4in) or simply removed. The contact is so slight, I am just going to run it as is, without modification, and see what happens.

I saw a picture about a year or so ago with a normal z that had the nismo body kit added to it and had the s-tune exhaust. It looked like crap and I wish I woulda saved it so I could show how bad it looked.
The factory nismo exhaust is tucked up and mostly hidden by the bumper, but the s-tune hangs down just like the standard z muffler and is completely visible on our cars. The tips looked fine. A little on the small side, but not too bad. It was the way the muffler was laid out what looked bad. The normal Z rear bumper hangs lower and makes it look good, but with how open our bumpers are it just doesn't fit.
Hey all! Most of you were indeed correct, they do not have it in stock anymore
I am now on the hunt for one in good condition.
Thank you for posting all of that information and links to those other forums with the nismo exhausts
And mine is not the one in California, its number 0435!
Still debating on whether to get it or not because the sound is what i fell in love with and still keep watching random youtube videos of it. After browsing through that forum, it doesnt look the best on the nismo z but it doesnt look horrible

I'm your my350z.com stocker I need to keep tabs on these things. I was thinking about hanging the hood on the wall as some decorating marvel but then I decided that would only be ok in a garage. So its on the bed in the spare bedroom, and my stock hatch has been on the dining room table since I swapped them out. Someone in my house deserves a metal. She rarely complains about any of it, she might be an enabler.
