Talking Just got the Nismo exhaust installed

Yesterday I had the Nismo exhaust installed. The dealership had it priced for $1059 with installation included. I was able to get it installed and out the door for $1000. Not too bad of a deal I think.
I knew Performance Nissan had it for around $900, but I figured after shipping, taxes and installation, it would be around the same.
Anywho, it's awesome! The note is alot more aggresive in the mid to higher rpm range. I didn't really notice any serious drone in the cabin. Overall I really like it. Next on the list I'd like the high flow cats. That will really top it off.

Had Nismo exhaust and RT cats installed today. Its alot more aggressive than I thought. I love it so far. With the stock set up you got a slight growl when you started the car. Now I get a roar that goes right through me and out the pipes. Couldn't imagine going with cats through a louder exhaust like Injen. Might be unbareable for some people. You will definately get some attention when you hit the gas though. Probably gained a few horses too.

Welcome to the club. And I couldnt agree with you more. If you want to get attention on demand. You can rev up and people will give you a glance. I have gotten props from vette and porsche owners on the tone now. O. And you have gained power. I gained about 18 hp and 17 or 18 foot pounds of torque.

NICE pulls...

Super nice guys... Doug has known them for years through ITS racing. I've gotten to know them from several HPDEs, etc...

Next time we head down to the dyno we'll make it announced to more people can come!

I really want to get those RT cats. After that I'll pretty much be done on my engine/exhaust mods. I'm trying to keep that warrany as long as possible without voiding it.
I was planning on getting new rims and tires, but everything I've been pricing is around 3k, which is a little out of my range. So I figured that buy taking care of my exhaust ,that will tide me over.

With aftermarket cats and exhaust do you think that I'll be able to pass emissions?

I love my Nismo, especially with the windows down. With them up though, it sorta sounds like a UPS delivery truck. But as soon as the windows go down, it really sounds exotic!

My second day with the exhaust and cats and I'm getting the dreaded vibration between 3k and 4k revs. It completely went away after engine warmed up. Can anyone tell me if it will get worse? I can live with it a few minutes during warm up.
