well poop.... you would have been very happy with that setup. get the lowest cell, or it is highest cant remember, hfc's. the sound will change as the exhaust inside gets coated with carbon. if after a while, you think it too tame still, sale it and get tdx2

You know, like new cars - they have regular exhaust and than just facia on the bumper. Car looks stoopid with these small straws ... but I tell you, sounds WAAAY better in the cabin.
When I put the invidia on my G, I didn't like the tips either, so I made some out of carbon fiber. No bumper melting yet It's been a couple years so far.

It's hard to tell, but they're not attached to the muffler and I mounted them to the bumper.

I feel like my exhaust is getting louder over time so maybe yours will too.

You need to have someone else drive it and listen to a fly by. Had my wife buzz me one day in front of the house at speed limit (40mph) in 3rd (that's hardly pushing it). I was curious about it because from inside the car, my exhaust is pretty quiet (like OE) but was pleased with the overall civility and tone of it (S-Tune); my preference being lower but still pretty close to OE sound. I'm sure it's quite a bit louder at WOT or above, say 4k rpm. Dunno, don't care to be noisy.

Will give it some more time. Thing is I never really wanted to be loud outside. Couldn’t care less. I wanted to hear the sound inside. When throttling up it becomes louder, a bit boomy, deep rumble, and thats what I want ALL THE TIME!
it still smells so it’s still breaking in. And when exhaust is heated up - some highway driving - it is better.
If you put the window down a bit you can hear it roars. Especially in tunnels. But since its not my daily I want a beast when I drive it.
If I wont be satisfied I’ll order custom welded muffler. Or go HFC. The thing is I don’t want to go with Berks. HJS is a European based company which make catalytic converters for 90% of the cars on the market. But you cannot get HFC from them. The make just the core. I have an option of getting HJS hfc’s but they are around 1.800 USD for a pair which is crazy.
KKS’s are also nice sounding but again PITA to get.
Berks go for around 600 USD a pair here. Probably that would be only sensible way to go since you gain performance. If I can get them street legal that is.
