Default NWP 75MM Throttle Body Problems

I just installed the 75MM throttle body on my 2004 350z (DE). I have done all the resets and relearn steps that the instructions say. No codes what so ever yet I’m having a small yet annoying problem. The throttle body remains open for about 1 second after I release the gas pedal. Anyone deal with this problem? If so what was the fix to it.

Not sure with this application. But with electric throttles I worked with, you needed factory based scan/code software to really re-adapt the throttle. Maybe with this it’s not as involved. But do you need a retune if it’s a bit larger then stock?

oh, so it’s maf housing increase & bigger injectors you really need retune. 75mm is not too much bigger, but helps. I wish it bolted directly & didn’t need stupid adaptor.

I’m adding the ISO thermal Aramid & copper throttle heater manifold projects. Prob adding 75mm kit too.

Yeah the adapter is ugly, I have the CZP adapter and it's better than Z1 and NWP IMO, but still ain't pretty. Will probably end up removing when I go FI, and just polish my OEM one.

I saw some guys drill & tap holes for it in the plenum neck.

p.s. I cut 4 of the inner support collars off plenum lid (shift tech clone) with the iso thermal stuff & it’s doing great! Intake noise is louder, no collars in the way. **** the spacer for me. Now I might get UpRev.

Uprev is nice, I got it. Running the Velocity manifold though, stock manifold is lame, too many fasteners.
