Default JWT Popcharger :)

I just brought my car out of storage since last winter and went for a ride with my just installed JWT intake on. Well as alot of other threads on here state, "Its worth it for the sound alone.". I was taking it easy for the first few miles since its been sitting all winter. I really didn't notice any sound change at first but when I finally got on it, it sounded GREAT!!! I really didn't notice any HP increase but I haven't driven the car for 4 months so there might have been. I think the only bad part is going to be my gas mileage is going to go down because of me stepping on it more to hear it.

Easy to install, and like I said earlier the sound is AWSOME. Definitely a product to buy.

Forgot to say a kid pulled up and asked me if it had a turbo. It kinda sounds like a quiet blow off valve.

The only part that is a little trouble is attaching the inserting the 2 screws for the heat shield to the original air inlet.

quick tip...I used a nail and a lighter to make the holes. Heat up the nail while holding it in pliers (duh), line up the heat shield, and stick'er in. MUCH easier than drilling or forcing the screws in.

I refuse to make holes so I just didn't do it. No problems so far.

Did you order it through UltimateZ.com? If so (I work for Ultimate Z) all 350Z Pop Chargers have been sent out and are on their way. Expect it at your door soon, and enjoy! =D

Mine sits very close but doesn't touch. You should reposition it. Push towards the front and use the side clamp to hold it.

I used a 45 degree screwdriver and really didn't have a problem installing the two screws. Forget it with a straight one

I dropped one of the screws and it is lost forever, even looked for it with a magnet. it is still in place just fine though with one screw. Sound is awesome, I did notice a little faster pickup, but also noticed that the engine didn't slow down the car as much as before. Can't wait for the cats and exhaust to come in.
