Default Best Exhaust for my Z

What is the best exhaust that i can get for under $900?

I was looking in to getting Injen SES System, Pro-1 System, or any JIC Magic Spartan Exhaust.

best is subjective to what your needs are.

sound(loud or soft), power, appearance.

I cant keep up with sound anymore and which are loud or not, I only know the injen is loud, but others are too.

of that list, injen will have the most power.

injen will also look the farthest from stock most likely. not sure about weight on all them, probably within 5 or 10 lbs of each other though.

hah thats subjective too.

I hear(boy I hear alot huh?) that the stillen exhaust sounds unbeleivable, but that the reason it sounds so good is the super heavy mufflers which is why its heavier than stock.

Has anyone seen or heard anything about the Top Secret Titanium exhaust with respect to sound? I've searched through all these links with clips, but never found sound for it.

Speaking of snow Zs... there was a freak blizzard in New Mexico and Colorado back in February. Drove the Z 10 hours through 2 inches of it on the roads at 15-25 mph. Snow tires would be a good thing.

Yeah i heard that about the Stillen also that is why im leaning away from that, I want to go with the Injen b/c of the sound and b/c of the performance but i just dont want to make a stupid move if there is something out there that is better.

Injen dynoed the Injen RD Intake with the Super SES exhaust together and had over 20hp gain and that really perks my ears up... I already have the intake so that makes it even better.

i think most of Ti construction y-pip and muffler will sound about the same.
so i assume my amuse's Ti exhaust+ y-pipe sounds similar to top secret's.
itz just soundz like a bike.mabye R1?

Yeah the Borla is a really good price, especially for what you get. I was just concerned with the sound, cause I installed one on a 98 Z28 and it sounded like a V8 motor boat. Kind of a gurgling sound to it, I didn't really like it. I really would have to hear one on a Z to be convinved into buying one. That's just me.
