Default Injen Super SES exhaust (1985c)

Anyone have it pre-ordered? I emailed injen and they said it would be another 2-3 weeks unitl they release it. How big are the tips going to be? Im sure the gains will be similar to the exsisting ses system for the Z. Injen's website had 90 db when they tested it but I am sure that it will be a lot more louder. I think that this true dual maybe the best out thier because of the price and the weight, along with the hp gains.

from my understanding, it will be slightly quieter, or so I was told by someone that has the prototype on their car.

the rest will be similair to the angled tip though. including same diameter tips, which are 4" I think?

its a great exhaust, has alot to offer for its price. some just dont want the loud sound or the extremely non-stock appearance that the straight tip system will still have.

Me too. It looks like you could get it for $800-$880 when it becomes available.

my response from injen today was:

The tips are 4.00" in diameter and exits out the rear bumper similar to the factory exhaust tips. The retail price is $1,075.00 MSRP and hp gains are between 8-12 hp to the wheels. As far as decibel testing is concern, we only abide by the California limit of 95db. This system is tested using the SAEJ1169 testing procedure. Obviously the system will be somewhat louder as the RPM's go higher, however we are not needed to test decibal levels after 3/4 of the rpm range.

You can pre-order the SES1985C from any of our authorized Injen retailers listed @ www.injen.com/dealer.html.

Hey guys my car was acutally being used as the prototype. I have had the exhaust on my car for I think 3-4 months and I love it still as much as the day I got it...

I don't know about most of the other distributors, but I would say my shipment would be more toward May 15th. I still have some systems left if anyone is interested.

please let me know if you have any questions in terms of sound, looks fitting etc.. I'm currently running Crawford headers with this set up, and gutted cats, you can

D@Activetuning,

I'm sorry I looked for the audio clips but couldn't find them. A forum member Bobby2Many did some audio clips quite a few months ago, he had a link to his site but its no longer there unfortunately..

thunder thanks man, its my favorite picture from that track day

i found what seems to be the injen straight tip for $750
http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/injses1985-xx.html

they claim its the straight tip, but the msrp they list is for the angled tip. i tried matching up item numbers to the injen straight and angled on stillen.com and it didnt match either though.

anyone think its worth further investigation?
