I have a stock air box. So I'll run the numbers on the way home tonight. I just read the post about modifying the AEM into a short ram. Since I have one sitting in my garage, I might do that this weekend and try the numbers again.

just curious, but I had the active reading on %load, anyone hit 100%?

it idles at like 24ish, but even in 2nd or 3rd gear, pedal to the floor, I get 93% 94 tops.

an extra 7% power would be nice.... anyone hit 100%, is it just a cailbration thing or is the ECU really only hitting 93% output?

OK, here are my results from the drive home today.

Ambiant Air - 93
Intake temp - 99
Coolant - 190-192

It was pretty consistant. I did some time at 60, 70 and a little at 80. At 60, the intake was between 99 and 102. At 70, it was pretty solid at 99, and 80, it went between 99 and 98.

This is with stock air box and kinetix plenum

it would seem... at full speed cruising, we are all getting the same temp air.

this assuming we'd need to be atleast 5-10degrees different to feel the slightest thing. but we seem to be almost all identical.

I suppose the next test would be cruising in 6th at a specific speed, say 65 or 70; on a flat road, recording %load, and MAF.

then we could see if the CAI gets more air through... would that work? I dont know really, seems like it should show us something.
