It was a special purchase. Quite possibly the first purchase from KurumaZ by anyone . . .lol. Yuichi (owner of KurumaZ) had this in his possession for research purposes for KurumaZ products. I bought it from him.
It would be upsetting to some, if they knew how much I paid for it, but it was used. I think the retail price is around $2000 for the exhaust (y-pipe back). I don’t have a y-pipe yet, but I hear I will have one in mid august to buy .
Power wise, you would be better off to buy the injen, borla, or something . . .My car is so modded up it really did not show much on the dyno. I think it really only helped up top. I think the key to the Nismo and regular Fujitsubo is the y-pipe. It frees up the most power in their systems. Nismo is the only "system" that includes the y-pipe. All the other Fujis dont.

Don't let anyone fool you into thinking that "ram air" will work as an add-on on a street car. At 100mph, you will see a gain in air pressure into the intake manifold of about 0.2psi. Above 200mph with an intake manifold specifically designed for "ram air", meaning a velocity increasing design, you *may* see a maximum of about 1 psi. The Gruppe M piece is absolutely gorgeous, but get it for just that reason, and don't expect a miracle out of it. My NA intake solution is the Nismo high flow filter and HeatShield intake tube wrap....that's all. I guarantee that it will produce as much gain as ANY intake system out there on this car because the stock intake is a solid design to begin with. The only real deficit is that it is poorly insulated. Even immediately after a run, if you put your hand onto the intake tube it is warm, and this is less than optimal.
