Default JWT Popcharger problem - Whistling gone?

I've had my pop charger on for maybe a 1000 miles at best.. and recently I had to reinstall it because I was changing out my plenum. Soon after, it completely stopped making that fairly loud whistling sound. At times I can't 'barely' hear it... but its no where at all like it used to be. Any idea whats up?

Also, I want to note that its not due to the plenum for sure because it was behaving normally and whistling for a long long time with an aftermarket plenum already installed.

This is perhaps a dumb thought, but does it need to be cleaned?

I noticed that after running the popcharger with the KINETIX V2 plenum and having the nice sound that it too disappeared when I put the stock plenum back on while awaiting my V4. As soon as I put the KINETIX V4 plenum on, the sound returned. If you have the stock plenum on now, then that's your problem. It's not sucking in as much air as the aftermarket plenum.

When i installed my popcharger with stock plenum, nice whistling was there, but since installing my kinetix cats and pulley, i don't hear it anymore:-(. Could it be that the exhaust sound now drowns out the popcharger sound?

Try driving with the windows down. hehehehe.
I can't hear mine unless the windows are down.
