Default Cheap Exhaust...

Like every form Ive ever been a member of, the search function sucks...

From what I gather I wont be able to gain much real performance out of replacing the whole system at a resonable price (sub 700 bucks)

I really want the sound , not something like a honda but something that gives the car a bit more deep grunt...

Anyone got any suggestions?

Thought Invidia exhaust was fairly reasonable. Haven't heard one in person though. Seen them go for under 700.

Injen SES Dual is extremely deep with test pipes. A little ricey at certain RPMs but not that bad. Mine was $800 shipped from Street Image. If interested, contact bobowah on this forum.

Check this out.
I looks like an Invidia exhaust and sounds like one as well at almost 1/2 the price.
I have also talked with people that have purchased this exhaust and they seem satisified with it.
I've purchased stuff from this guy before and he seems legit.
Good luck.

They sound just like Invidia exhausts. Deep with a growl. Hp gains are about standard with Y- pipe back exhaust about 3 to 7 hp.
Add an aftermarket Y-pipe add another 3 to 5 hp add headers (not including Borlas) about another 3 to 6 hp or/and add high flow cats add 4 to 5.

Email the guy and he will send you a clip.

Its nice if you just want the sound and the install is something that you can do by yourself with hand tools with jack stands.
Have fun!

Yes, those ebay exhausts are indeed Top Speed pro-1 exhausts. I dunno why its so cheap on ebay though, cause I saw someone selling this exhaust USED on this forum for $600.

I have an Rs*R and its fairly inexpensive. I got mine for about $600, but a buddy of mine has an Invidia and they sound pretty much the same. If its just sound you want, save some cash and get the Flowmasters.

It's not called the Pro N1...just FYI. Top Speed is the name of the company that sells their own performance product line called "Pro-1"
