The JWT in my opinion is very loud and audible from inside the car. Friends that I have taken on cruises comment that it sounds like a turbo when you get around 4k cause you could hear the "whir" from it. It definately sounds nice and lets you know the VQ is really really breathing. I havent gotten a chance to really clean my JWT so I took it off and put the stock airbox back on. Since I have noticed a subtle but noticeable power loss. But then again I got a very open exhaust and cams to bump up the need for more breathing. This is just what I've noticed over around 1.5k miles of driving and cruises. I'm definately putting the JWT back on as soon as I can My JWT aint blue no more due to the fact that I just pick up K&N air filter cleaner which is red. And I'd advise that after you oil the filter, just spin it around a little to get rid of excess oil and let it sit for a while (over night if possible) to help let some of the oil drain. It's not a good idea to have that oil being blown on the MAF.

I'd recommend the JWT if you want a loud intake. You'll definately hear it. I havent done any kind of intake swap to prove/disaprove the dyno, and it may be the placebo effect, but I notice a small gain when I put the JWT on.
