Didn't Car and Driver or Automobile Mag also do their own dyno? I remember seeing another Rear Wheel dyno in one of the articles besides SCC.
I believe they were just re-printing the dyno graph from Nissan's site.

Anyone have any idea what the Amuse system will cost? I sure it will be a lot more then the B&B.

I'd have to agree, not to excited about the B&B sound. I know they were rather pricing (I guess still are) for their Z32 version, although that one ran $1500 I believe. They were also know for being one of the loudest exhaust of the group.

Maybe a dumb question, and I know gets beat down sometimes, but would an aftermarket exhaust void your warranty. I'd love to mod my Z, but like many, can't afford to void my warranty. Thoughts?

you can take everything off past the cat(s) without messing much up. this is the last part the ECU cares about. obviously, since the stock cat-back would be gone, there is no claim you can make to nissan...

put it this way... if you swap out exhausts, and the front suspension breaks... nissan has to cover it... now, if the ecu keeps complaining about O2 sensor problems... they might not.

warranty is safe for exhaust and cold air intake mods....aftermarket ecu...well thats a different story...I'm sure if I see a good exhaust kit that a member has dynoed not some bs manufacture dyno...then Im sold...same with intake...We should be over 300 crank hp with these mods.

That one guy was right every exhaust mod I have done to any car...has a breakin period as far as the sound(it usually deepends)...Hell the factory exhaust sounds deeper now after breakin.

Do you think the B&B headers, once available, would cause problems given the stock ECU?

It is a lot of money, but B&B's aren't cheap either. Since the B&B Z32 exhausts are around $1300+, you're definitely getting a better deal with the Amuse (Titanium, lighter, and twice the power gains)

Well on my last two corvettes 1998 & 2000 the 98 had the B&B, I liked the materials but the sound was much too quiet, the price was like $895 I think. ON the 2000 I had Corsa exhaust which was much better and cheaper @ $750. I wish Corsa would make an exhaust for the 350Z, cause i just ordered one.

exhaust setup is like this:

exhaust manifold -> headers -> catalytic converters with O2 sensors -> cat-back exhaust.

that 3rd part is where you can run into computer problems... so in a short answer... it shouldnt hurt, but i will guess since they are making headers and cat-backs, they will offer a high-flow cat replacement.

in that case, we will have to see if anything goes haywire...

dont like the sound that much... but maybe a good bang for the buck, considering alot of the highend japanese exhaust would cost alot more. for maybe the same power gains, or slightly more
