Heres the specs...

17lbs lighter than factory

2.5 inch instead of 2.25

"You can't see the mufffler from the back of the car and the silencer has been removed"

They used a chasis dyno.

They are posting a 6.5 increase of RWHP torque 5 gain....they are sending me dyno charts.

basline 229 rwhp with exhaust 236 rwhp

Retail cost $895 plus shipping....
7-10 days lead time

They are also working on a header.

I already asked...NO group buy...I wonder if I can swing a forum member discount.

well doing alittle fuzzy math this modd would get us at 297.56 at the crank. Now for some intake and cpu....Im sure we will get the car at 320+ crank hp. Which would give us around 260+ rwhp.

My guess is that we are all losing 20 percent on this drive train for the 6spd. I still dont know how Sports Compact got their numbers, but the forum memebers are getting around 230 rwhp which is almost 20 percent exactly.

Anyone know how to get the exact drive train loss?

I wanna see if nissan fudged on the 287hp. I'm seriously thinking about Dynoing my car on a cold day to see if I can get it in the high 30's-40's like sports compact. If so...then this mod would put it in the 250 rwhp range.

SCC got, what, 244 rwhp? I have that article at home and I was astonished at that. I thought maybe the parasitic loss was around 15% and that would account for the higher SCC dyno results, but at 20%, how did they get that???

Unhappy Sound

I don't really like the sound either. Its not very throaty. I do however like the performance increases and weight. It also beats the hell out of the pricing for some of the titaniums out there.

I am interested!

Dont be so fast to judge SSC. I bet a car with 10,000miles on it WILL put out about 10 or more HP then one out of the box. Lets see what happens once we start pushing our cars more and loosening up the engine. Cause you know the ones that the mags were testing had been ripped to $%^%$#.

I have a B&B on my Z28 right now. After it was installed, it sounded a bit boomy; it mellowed out after some miles. My take on the sound is similar to yours. But the boominess does go away after some miles have been put on it.

Talking Possible Group Buy with B&N

StrictlyZ have been working with B&B on this system. I'm suprised word spread so fast hear since the clip just came out this morning.

Ted the owner that volunteered already has the B&B exhaust system on the car. I'm suprised about the price, since we sell the 300ZX exhaust systems for 1300 or more in pricing.

If you guys want I'll put a deal together for you guys give me a call or e-mail at (408)364-0156 or an e-mail at Service@StrictlyZ.com. Pictures are on our website as well of the system.

Seems like no one else has been able to get similar gains to the Amuse exhaust.

Didn't Car and Driver or Automobile Mag also do their own dyno? I remember seeing another Rear Wheel dyno in one of the articles besides SCC.
