Headers will not be an easy install, no matter what brand you get. My second install took 10 hours on jackstands, but then I'm old. You can feel the Borla's come on the power band at higher rpm. Check the previous posts, you will need some confidence and a good set of tools.

Stay away from Stillen if you want an easy install. They have the best hp gain and they are expensive.
DC sport are nice on the wallet with a nice gain.
Borla doesn't give much gain but nice when matched with their exhausts.
Flip a coin and go for it.
They are all fantastic headers and you can't loose either way.
If you do it yourself, by yourself, take your time and give yourself 10 hrs or 2 days.

Good luck.

I believe that the Borla and Stillen headers are made by the same manufacturer. I saw the two side by side and they were identical except for the flange, in which case the Stillen had cut away material while the Borla was solid. I own a set of the Borla headers and my only complaint was the quality of the welds where the tubes join the block flange. They were welded nicely on the inside, but on the outside they had gaps in between the header pipes and the flange. I own a tig welder so it was not difficult for me to fill in the gaps and make a solid weld on both sides which I did as extra insurance to make sure that I didn't put them on only to have them crack. So.... I would check any of the headers you are considering for weld quality before making a purchase because no matter how good they look, if the welds don't cut it, you may be looking at another 100 bucks or so to have the welds gone over again.

no, stillen uses higher quality welds, and also, the Borla arent equal length

I have personaly seen a dyno where a car gained 1.1 hp and lost 2pounds of torque

I gained about 12hp and 6 pounds of torque when I added my headers

Don't waste your money on cheap headers... One of the above mentioned headers actually loses power.

The best headers are made by Crawford. If you can't afford them now just wait until you can.
