Question Blitz Nur Touring Exhaust, anybody?

Hello Guys!

I think about doing something good to my Lady and change her good original exhaust to an even better new one. And after look (& listening) nearly everywhere in the net I thought I ask the community (YEAH THAT'S YOU) for a little help.

So: ANYBODY know something good about the Blitz Exhaust for my Fairlady? I can only find some soundclips and the standard marketing text. I would really like to know what guys think that already saw it in action or use it everyday! HP gains, sound & look, quality and so on.

Thanks in advance for your help

toni,

I have the blitz nur-touring exhaust. I got it put on about 2 months ago and loved it since. Its got a nice deep and clean tone to it. When you are on full throttle, it sounds amazing! (a little hard to describe) As far as loudness goes, i think its probably around the middle of the spectrum.

The blitz seemed to give it a little more power up top, while still retaining good low end torque. Remember, this is only a midpipe back system. Thats why i opted to couple it with a JIC y-pipe, at which i noticed a little extra "ummph" and louder exhaust note.

The quality of the blitz is very good (very shiny). The welds are strong and clean. There were no fitment issues, and install took about 20-25 minutes.

All in all, i am very happy with my exhaust, and have no regrets so far.....hopefully i can find a way to put it on video so i can share it with the community....

Blitz is a great company and I would trust any of their products as being top notch. But, after hearing this is a mid-pipe system I would urge you to buy a Y-Pipe at the same time to get the full benefit. I currently have a Tanabe Exhaust and I love it. JDM really seems to be on top of things Z wise.

I KNEW I COULD DEPEND ON YOU GUY's! Thanks for the fast reply (even when the board was down for some time....)

BKMC can you send me some pic's please? I can't wait to see this system on a Fairlady.

I'm afraid I have to wait some months the winter is coming and I don't want my lady to catch a cold. Thought about buying a y-pipe but I'm not sure which one. My dealer offerend me the Fujitsubo but I don't know if it works good with the Blitz Exhaust. Or how the reputation of this company is.

Until BKMC post's his pics what do you guys think about the other mod's I will do:

UR Pulleys
Fujitsubo Y-Pipe
Blitz R-VIT (V2 should work with the 350Z right?)

Inside is already an INjen CAI.

I have the UR Pulleys, Tanabe Exhaust already in.

Waiting to be installed:
Apex'i S-AFC II
Stillen Race Pipes
Fujitsubo Y-Pipe

I think your setup will be awesome, but how about instead of the Blitz R-VIT (since you already have an intake) you get some high flow cats or test pipes? This will free up even more exhaust flow. My goal is to have my whole exhaust route finished by Christmas... All I need is headers and I'll be done, cant wait to feel those gains!

I would love to install testpipes but the problem is in my country are some strict laws regarding exhaust sounds and gases.

I'm sure it will get hard for me to use the BLITZ exhaust and the INjen CAI but it's impossible drive with testpipes.

Well in the end I hope to get a car from my company so I can mod my private 350Z to the possible max. Like TT etc. etc. But that's far from now.

Just hope to see everything installed in march.
