Thanx, bro; a very practical benefit is that it allows more air into the engine compartmnt and decreases engine temp big time.

How's this for a porduct test.

Send me a set of headers.

I will pay for the install, and the six dyno runs (3 before, 3 after)

I will post any and all results to all forum members here and this will validate the product's performance.

If the dynos prove that these headers make the power you claim (within 10%). I will buy them.

If not, I ask that you fit the bill for the install/uninstall fees, but I will cover the dyno costs.

If you are confident in your product, this should be a no brainer for you....send em my way.

We have many reputable shops in SoCal that are more than qualified to do a professional installation on these, so that shouldn't worry you.

Nexus...whaz'up. This seems like great opportunity for you to demonstrate your products claimed performance gains. Modified or not...take advantage of this offer, or someone else's, to show your data is repeatable. We all know, you must be able to provide similar data results repeatedly in order for it to be accepted as valid. I am interested in seeing more data.

I'll second that, let's see some modded Z dynos. Not many people who are willing to go the header route are going to leave it at that. I don't want to go through the time and money involved to gain only 5 or 10 HP-if that-w/my current bolt ons. Just get a Z w/the most popular; test pipes, pulley, exhaust, CAI and maybe a reflash thrown in.

review is almost done...but to answer the question about the octane, it was 93. As well, in the next couple of weeks I'll be adding a few parts to the car so you'll be able to see the gains in a modded Z,

Anyone else watching the GB of TopSpeed headers at 350zmotoring.com?

Someone posted a dyno there on a modded Z.

For all those who where after gains on a modified 350Z, we just had a my350z.com member (sig: aabauza) dyno our stainless-steel test pipes on a Z with an HKS exhaust and an intake. The car dyno'd an added +13bhp & +12lbs/tq. to the wheels. The review will be posted by your member shortly including all dynos. Just wanted to give you all the latest as soon as I could because we did the install and dyno last night, but I still have not scanned the files.

I'm in the market for headers so I'll also be keeping a close eye on this one.

Can you please clarify if it's:
Base dyno + exhaust/intake + test pipes = +13hp

or

Base dyno + test pipes = +13hp

Your statement is a little tricky, so I just want to get things clear.

Thanks in advance.

Wait, isn't this a thread about headers? Is the statemnt above talking about headers or "test pipes", which i thought referred to cat replacemnts?
Assuming he means headers when he says "test Pipes", i think he means exhaust+intake+headers= 13whp>exhaust+intake, but it does need clarification, please.

Zboy, I know you are not asking if he is talking about the headers?

What do these headers do the the air:fuel ratio? I have heard that any header will make you run leaner. Are you risking detonation at high rpm? Also has this header been tested on ULEV2 spec vehicle, where only small disturbances in the A:F ratio as measured by the pre-cat sensors can trigger an SES light.
