try reading your owners manual for the maintenance schedules. as far as recommending the services....if you can afford the services then why not have nissan do them. unless you are a certified mechanic and can do all of the maintenance yourself then you could save some money. even i can change oil but for 20 bucks its worth it to me to have nissan do it and dispose of the oil and keep documentation on my car for future resale or any warranty work that might be needed....just my .02

i read the owners manual i dont have a problem spending the money but it is extremely not convenient for me to leave my car at nissan at 7 am and pick it up at the end of the day. If anyone else has a more helpful post id appreciate it

don't they give you a rental car for the scheduled service?

it's part of our warranty

check out your warranty details

I'd just have Jiffy Lube or another oil change place do the small stuff and only take the car to Nissan for the big things (15k and 30k etc...)

as far as oil, most recommend using regular for the first 10,000miles and then switching to mobil 1.

it shouldn't take all day to change the oil....1 hr at the most....and i just recently had mine done at nissan while i waited and i didn't even have an appointment. talk to the service manager and let him know that you need your car back asap.

as far as the other services go, such as the major checkups....yes, they should have a shuttle or rental car for you so as to not inconvenience you all day.

btw, no need to get snappy there mikey....its not that hard to figure out, is it?

rw...peace out
