Default Coin Holder Troubles (Again)

I don't know how many people have had this problem but this is the second time this has happened to me. I was in the process of cleaning the car and I tried opening the coin holder but it just sunk into the console. I was finally able to pull the coin holder out and I notice the little piece of plastic had snapped.

Anyone else have this problem? I think the design is stupid because it's not a replaceable piece. It's all a part of the console.

I super glued the thing last time and it seemed to work great. I just forgot where I put my super glue.

i lost that little piece when it fell through the hole. so i taped a little piece of a toothpick to the leftover plastic and it holds my cupholder up. im embarrased to even share this story because it is so ghetto but you have to do what you have to do. its either cupholder falls through or you have a toothpick that you cant see under there. lol... i try not to think about it.
