Weird problem I just noticed is if I'm in first gear and rev it out to say 6000 or 6200, the E-brake light under my temp gauge flashes. It's not the rev limiter light. I checked to make sure the E brake handle was all the way down. Maybe something to do with the force of the acceleration is causing this. Electrical problem? I'm going to have it checked but was wondering if this happened to anyone else.

 

Check brake fluid level first it might be low.

 

same here mine stays on though till i come to a complete stop along with the winshield washer fluid light, ive been searching around but cant find much on the subject

 

Nissan says the lights were coming on because I needed new brakes. I guess it's about time at 25k miles. It cost about $450 for front and back pads and rotors resurfaced. Maybe next time I'll learn to to it myself.

 

i went out last night after reading this and sure enough the brake fluid was low due to the pads starting to wear, added a bit more took it out for a drive and no more light
