Exclamation Break, SLIP, and VDC OFF lights come on

I have '03 Touring model with about 40,000 miles on it. This started happening recently and I have identified certain patterns already. When I hit the breaks a little bit harder than usual, the BREAK light comes on and then disappears in a little while (not right away). However, when I break on higher speeds (freeway 60+mph), the BREAK light and also SLIP and VDC OFF lights come on. While BREAK light disappears in a little while, SLIP and VDC OFF lights stay on. They only turn off when I shut down the engine and do not come on when I restart it. My warranty coverage is over; thus, I need to find out if this is a known issue that had prior TSBs. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks! Any help would be appreciated!

its brake fluid. its a precursor to having to get you brake pads replaced. you can buy some time now though by just adding brake fluid.

The samething just started happening to me this weekend. The only difference is that the VDC/SLIP lights came back on the 2nd time I turned the car on. I'll check the break fluid. I have a 2003 with 32k miles on it.
