Um...help...I think it might be the fuel pump?
I'm completely guessing....But I was driving shifting between 3rd and 4th and all of a sudden I lost all ability to accelerate. I looked down at the controls and it appeared that the car had died. I rolled up to the next stop sign and tried to start the car again....it started, and then 6 seconds later died. It is as if the fuel pump is not delivering to the rest of the system. Before anyone asks....yes, the car has a quarter of a tank still in it. Any thoughts? The fuel pump is a complete guess on my part....

I have the K&N and no such problems, but in another car I had that problem and it turned out to be the fuel pump, it would run fine and then shut down and if you waited it would start up again but die a little while later, it was overheating and shutting off.
The problem is that at first they could not duplicate problem because it only happened after a while of driving which you could only duplicate with some time driving or fast driving making the pump work constantly. Hopefully they will find the problem the first time.
