Did you have a K&N Fliter? Another owner just had the same power loss you described. Too much oil gummed up the intake somewhere.

I have the K&N and no such problems, but in another car I had that problem and it turned out to be the fuel pump, it would run fine and then shut down and if you waited it would start up again but die a little while later, it was overheating and shutting off.

The problem is that at first they could not duplicate problem because it only happened after a while of driving which you could only duplicate with some time driving or fast driving making the pump work constantly. Hopefully they will find the problem the first time.

See Wespak post also. Was a fuel pump in his case. I would tell them that also.
