Default Changing out brake pads

How easy is it to change out the brake pads on a Z? I was thinking of getting some Hawks and I want to do it myself.

Thanks

They look pretty simple. I have never taken mine apart but they look just like most other brakes.

Easy. Very easy. Do a search, there are some how-to threads.

If you replace the pads, I recommend that you also turn the rotors.

Do it yourself man. I had never done brakes before and it took me maybe 2 hours to do all four corners. If you have the right tools you could probably do all 4 in under an hour.

Thanks everyone! I'm excited to get this done, I'm anxious to get my Z to stop like it used to.

It's easy enough to learn, the dealer charges ~$500 for this. Even getting the rotors turned yourself runs about $20-30 bucks at a local brake shop. They charge ridiculous amounts.

Default sorry.........

I have only been able to find threads with pictures(here+elsewhere!)
for changing pads on the non-Brembo brakes.
Anyone point me in the right direction for a Brembo one??

i changed my front brake pads and rotors yesterday...
it was really easy and i'm no "gearhead"... it took me about 1 1/2 hours...
the hard part was taking off the bigger caliper bolts... helps to turn your wheels...
