Default front wheel isnt centered.

i noticed today my driverside front wheel is centered in the wheelwell, but the passengerside wheel is closer towards the back than the front. is this normal or what can it be?

I highly doubt that this is alignment related but, I may very well be wrong. Did you get the car used?

is it the toe or caster that affects the centering of the wheel...

^It's caster.

Get your alignment checked asap! Look for any bent/damaged suspension components.

My honda had the drivers side front wheel off center due to a bent control arm. I didn't notice it until the inner side of the tire wore down and blew out the tire.

no it was new. how bad is this. i recently ran over a 2x4 and i think it messed up a brushing. sometimes when u jerk the wheel to the left while moving, i hear a "CLAK" sound coming from the right side of the car. How much damage is it causing my car and my wallet?
