Default Slight hissing sound

When I'm at idle every now and then I hear a slight hissing or "pssst" sound coming from what seems like the rear. I hear it inside my car. I have not got out of my car to try and pinpoint it but it happens at random times, about 1 - 2 seconds at a time.

Has anyone else experienced this noise? I wish I could explain it better, it's a very low pitched sound, so I can only hear it with the radio off.

I'm sure its the fuel pump, as its mounted right behind you and it should be quite normal.
