luckily mine were all replaced under warranty. i swear i will not buy any more cars with power windows...lol. i'd go to the local nissan wrecking yard and find a used window regulator and replace it myself if i were you. The junkyard usually guarantee the parts they sell. Good luck.

go to nissan parts and ask for the actual part # and name. Search it online for a better price than nissan charges.

Bang hard on the inside of the door. Try the switch again.

a new one ain't cheap even with a 10% discount. i bought a front grille from the nissan dealer with a contractor discount. The same part i found out later was selling for 50$ less online.

If you're out of warranty, first try the repair in the thread linked above. If you aren't mechanically inclined in the slightest, then you could try printing out the thread and take it to a mechanic that you like and have them do it. An hour of labor should still be cheaper than a new motor.

BTW, a regulator is the mechanical track, cables, and gears that raise and lower the window. Yours is probably fine. Most likely, you are having problems with the motor, not the regulator.
