Default Automatic locks no longer automatic

Woke up this morning , went to my car, ht the key fob, heard a clicking sound , went to open door, did not open , hit the key fob again, did not open, agaiin.....did this for 5 mins standing in utter disbelief , felt a headache coming , then i did the unthinkable , opened the door manually! felt weird reliving the 80's.

Anyways, anyone know how much this costs to fix? It seems as if the latch isnt catching.

Oh hell, I hope this is not "another" problem showing itself. We will end up having to replace the whole damn car....Between, clutch sticking,,window motors, door locks,,oil consumption ECT, ECT,,,,I feel like nissan could have at least used spit so my **** would not be so sore....

i swapped mine out in my g. if its anything similar the lock assembly was like 150$ and an hour of my time. take off the door panel, the metal panel under, the door handle, then you can take off the lock assembly.

were you only hitting "UNLOCK" or did you hit "LOCK" again before you tried hitting "UNLOCK" again...

Sometimes if you go to open the door too soon after hitting unlock the doors do not unlock... and you have to hit lock before it opens again...
